Botanical Expedition
For this project, we were tasked with creating an immersive game set in 2050. We developed a game centered around the ongoing forest fires in Woronora, Sydney. This game was crafted by a team of 6 individuals, with myself serving as the Art Director responsible for managing the visual design aspects.
Our Story
Australian bushfires have caused many different types of plants to go extinct in the year 2050. Oliver Mills comes from a family of botanists and longs to one day see one of these extinct plants. One day when reading through plant journals he inherited from his grandfather, Oliver discovers samples of some of the plants he has always wished to see grow. This inspires Oliver, who sets out on a journey to mutate the samples he found with modern day plants to bring those that went extinct back.
